Non-judgmental attitude

Non-judgmental attitude

One day, two friends, Yuzu and Marita, went shopping together. Marita saw a beautiful violin shop and fell in love with one of the violins, but she didn't have enough pocket money to buy it. Excitedly, she said to Yuzu, "Yuzu, look at that violin, it's so beautiful! Unfortunately, I don't have enough money to buy it."

Upon hearing this, Yuzu quickly smiled and said, "It's okay. We can go to the music room and play other instruments, or we can save money and buy the violin together next time."

Marita was a bit surprised by Yuzu's response. she thought Yuzu might laugh at her for not having enough money or feel envious of the violin. But Yuzu didn't think that way; she simply accepted Marita's feelings and provided understanding and support.

Later, Yuzu took Marita to the music room, and they had a lot of fun playing various instruments. They laughed together and enjoyed a happy time. Marita gradually forgot about the violin and felt very grateful for Yuzu's acceptance and understanding.

This story tells us that when facing someone's feelings, we should maintain a non-judgmental attitude. Yuzu's understanding and acceptance made Marita feel respected and supported, receiving warmth and acceptance. He knew he could express his feelings without reservation in this space. Such an attitude can build deeper friendships and make people feel loved and cared for.

Everyone has their own feelings and needs, and we should respect each other, provide understanding and support. Only with this attitude can we truly build harmonious relationships.
